NaNoWriMo stands for National Novel Writing Month – It is a not for profit organization that promotes writing a book in the month of November, 30 days and at least a 50,000 word manuscript. I decided today to participate. What in the world was I thinking? I mean that is a lot of writing. As the saying goes in for a dime, in for a dollar. I will do my best and hopefully not embarrass myself in the process. If I do it won’t be the first time so I have that working for me. 🙂
At 1700 words a day this will put my writing skills through their paces. It should be an interesting month. I will keep you posted, but they will be short because I have a schedule to keep to. 🙂

I won’t be slacking off on Derrick’s Deaths it will be published in Spring of 2018 as promised. I am making good progress on it. I hope to have in the hands of a Beta Reader by the end of the month.
Here is a line from Chapter 14: “Tasing the young girl he pushes her into the back seat, he is so fast he is sitting in the front seat threatening the mother before she is able to even form a scream.”
Thanks for stopping by,
See ya at the Forge!!!
