She was skeptical at first but after talking to Joeys’ wife Inge Natasha agreed to let John attend the blacksmithing event along with his closest friends and workmates Joey, Christopher, and Anthony. Inge and Natasha were going too, not only to see Germany and the Czech Republic, but to keep an eye on their husbands. Czech Republic is part of the EU, what could go wrong?

After the attempted break-in of John and Natasha’s hotel room the police tell them their four friends staying in the hotel have been kidnapped. The Alamant police appear more interested with assigning blame for the attacker who fell off the balcony than they are with locating their kidnapped friends. The kidnappers were professionals leaving John and Natasha in danger.John decides he must take action himself and convinces Natasha to escape and help locate their friends.

Missing them by hours he discovers a letter from Victor, a man declared dead three years ago telling him his friends are safe, but he needs to join them in five days at Rozafa Castle. Victor is a dangerous man, but takes pride in keeping his word, so John believes his friends are safe for the moment. Three years ago his associates massacred 104 people in the bowels of Rozafa Castle. He needed a plan, but could only rely on his Albanian friends Nik and Buchari since he and Natasha were both fugitives because of the Alamant Police. He thought he was finished with Rozafa forever; it needs to end this time for good.
