Briarwood Manners

Lisa Daniels runs into Janice Walters, from Lake Village, Ohio, in Dundrum, Northern Ireland. She remained bewildered right up to the moment of her death. Maya Campbell saw something from across the bay and set out searching the next day. Fate, or bad luck, struck a blow. This event will define Maya’s life. She expected justice for Lisa, but the years passed and none came. Thirteen years later, she’s a detective with the Northern Ireland National Police. Free, well, almost, to search for Lisa’s murderer(s).

The evidence leads her to Italy, Spain, and ultimately to Lake Village, Ohio, and the rich, influential owners, Janice, and Nathan Walters of the Briarwood Hotel. The obstacles mount, making it nearly impossible to obtain justice for Lisa and many others. Garnering with the help of a retired Nassau County Police Officer, Joe Langelier, and two Ohio State Internal Affairs detectives, Scout, and Cole, she starts an international task force, yet they remain untouchable.

Soon after enlisting the help of the former Briarwood manager, Alana Green, who is sure the twins murdered her mother years ago, all of them barely survive an assassination attempt. Even so, proving their involvement is fraught with obstacles. Proving a thing takes time, but sometimes, time won’t wait.
